Privacy policy

Short version: I collect as little as possible, I do not sell anything about you, and the only thing I really keep is your email address if you choose to give it to me.

Last updated September 2026

What I collect

If you sign up for emails, I collect your first name, last name and email address. That is handled by Flodesk, my email provider, and stored on their systems.

If you fill in the podcast guest or brand inquiry form, I collect what you type in it. Those submissions are handled by Netlify, where this site is hosted.

My host also records basic, anonymous traffic information — page views, referring links, rough location by country. It is not tied to you personally.

What I do with it

I email you if you asked to be emailed. I reply to you if you sent me an inquiry. That is it. I do not sell, rent or trade your information, and I do not share it with anyone except the services named here that make the site work.

Services this site uses

Flodesk for email. Netlify for hosting and form submissions. Spotify for the embedded podcast player. Substack for the writing feed. Each of these has its own privacy policy, and the embedded Spotify player may set cookies from Spotify.

Your choices

Every email I send has an unsubscribe link and it works immediately. You can also write to me and ask what I hold about you, or ask me to delete it, and I will.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13 and I do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If this policy changes I will update the date at the top of this page.
